Known around the world for their signature dry wit, the Dutch industrial design firm Droog is never afraid to experiment. With this in mind, they felt the Foundry was a perfect fit for their visualization and marketing needs.
Droog's innovative showroom/real estate venture, housed in a preserved Amsterdam row house facade with interior architecture by Tokyo's Atelier Bow Wow, called for an inventive presentation. Emphasizing the relationship between the Dutch city's sensibility and Droog's quirky designs, we introduce the viewer the furnishings digitally composited and tracked into city scenes captured on a classic Dutch bicycle. After establishing the context, the video transitions into the interior of the building, depicting the fluid interior galleries. The video debuted at ArtBasel Miami to an exclusive pool of investors and press.
